Ack! I woulda won (or at least tied for 1st at 23) if I'd just played all weeks. :( I coulda hoisted a second banner on my user page... I woulda been a dynasty!!! I guess I'll just have to live with my football team joining the most elite of NFL franchises by winning 3 of 4 super bowls, mere months after my baseball team mounted a historic, unprecedented, mindblowing, apocalypse heralding World Series Championship. It's a tough cross to bear, being a New England sports fan these days...

Hi, grum, I'm Curtom Bradyschilling. Nice to meet you... Man, the green-eyed monster rears its ugly head. It's rough, having every sports fan on the planet wish they were so fortunate as to root for the hometown teams of the loyal New England fan base... By the way, let me be the first (in this thread at least) to roundly congratulate NoMich on his running of this playoff run. He kept it friendly, loose, and interesting through all 4 weekends of the playoffs. His updates were timely, and his scoring was accurate. You can't ask for better than that!!! By the way, BillSaysThis: I believe the below banner belongs to you. Feel free to save the image and host it on your user page (or make a better one that I can; it'll disappear from that link soon enough- and hey, SpoFi gods, when you gonna start hosting these banners on the SpoFi server where they belong?!?).

I WIN I WIN I WIN. YOU ALL LOSE, SUXORS!!!! Seriously, I am very surprised after only getting the winning team last night but I guess no one picked Deion Branch. Guess the voters got tired of writing Tom Brady and Cadillac is pissed at him over the lawsuit. Hal, thanks for the banner. I have my own website so hosting the image isn't a problem (and can offer the same for other SpoFites if needed). I hope to add many more in the coming months and years.

bst, congrats! I was not only watching the game closely, but flipping back and forth to the table of this week's picks and trying to figure out what the outcome was likely to be. Right before the end I figured that either you or I would win it, and it would come down to the MVP: if my guess (Dillon) was right, I'd win; if it was anyone else, you'd win. I have to say, the Pick 'Em added a lot of fun to what was already a way fun playoff, and I'd like to thank NoMich for doing it and everyone who participated. We had some real good discussions, mercifully managed to avoid the rash of "your all losers" losers that invaded some of the front-page threads, and I, for one, had a real good time. Let's do it again next year!!!

billsaysthis! Congratulations guy. Although, you did have little_brown_bat and 86 breathing down your neck, so don't get too cocky. Ah hell, go nuts, you won by my stupid rules. Give me 'til tomorrow to make a 2005 banner for you. It would just be an updated version of mine, so if you want to make a grander one, go for it.
