Is there any interest in a T-Dot SpoFi get-together??

I vote for game night -- though every day is a game night now, but whatever. Preferably Saturday, as getting somewhere not-remote on a work day is a bit of a hassle. Anyway, I'm in if people don't mind a boring nerd's company.

I'd love to join you guys but I'm actually 2 hours outside of Toronto and my weekends are filled to the brim with family get-togethers for the next couple of weeks.

I won't be back up in Tronno for a few weeks, but if I can get it to coincide with another trip, I'm in. It'd be nice to drink real beer for a change.

I live across the lake in Rochester ... one of these days I will be up in Toronto.

Jesus, if Americans don't know that 98% of the beer we brew is weak, tasteless shit, they'd might as well start drinking Snapple.

I've grown to enjoy the shitty, watered-down taste of American beer. When I was last travelling, I had trouble drinking sometimes. I actually turned to a friend and said, "I don't know if I can finish this one, James. All this flavor is starting to get to me."

Not to sound snobbish, but I am, so: It sounds like someone needs an intervention.

I would be up for a meeting. But this week isn't great for me. Plus I'd prefer that grum was there so I could punch him for his back-to-back fantasy wins.

Yeah, c'mon. Two hours isn't that far out. I live two hours out (by bus... from downtown).

well, maybe the summer is a better time....

I'd love to come, you guys think we could have the meetup at The Sports Grill on Shoreline? Oh, wait, Mountain View is 500 hours' drive from Toronto, forget I said anything.

I might make it for a summer shin dig....perhaps a Jays game?

Well this plan turned out to be a bummer :

Not sure if this has been done already? There seems to be several Torontonians on SpoFi, and the Beantown get-together seemed a success. I am suggesting perhaps a post-work couple of beverages somewhere downtown. Either on a Leafs off-night or game-night works fine by me. Suggestions for date, location very welcome since I am relatively new to the city...
