So where's our lofi for deleted threads? Or are threads here well and truly deleted instead of just turned to an inactive status (given that I can't even find the Vin Baker == Pussy thread on my comments page)?

Ouch. Yeah I know. It was a troll for all the Celtic fans, more than anything. I just wanted them to know, that no matter how stupid Wally Walker is, and he is stupidity personified, he still pulled one over on Beantown.

*Gasp* that's the first deleted thread I know about at all. That sort of says something good about the spofi denizens don't it.

That's quite a dubious achievement for me!

he still pulled one over on Beantown Yup. And now you're 1/1000 of the way to evening out the Heathcliff Slocumb deal.

Umm. Fair enough. But Bostonians really *cough* oughtn't brag *cough curse* about any deals *cough Bambino* they have ever made *cough Bagwell* in the history of their *cough Larry Andersen* organization

I hadn't heard of either of those trades you reference. My objection was more to the "pulled one over on Beantown" when the truth is more like "took advantage of the situation a lame-duck carpetbagger of an owner put the team in." No one in the Celtics' organization below the level of assface owner would have preferred to deal for Vin Baker vs. resign Rodney Rogers.

Deleted posts are not actually deleted. They just disappear from any list of posts. Or at least they are supposed to -- the archive for February 2003 still includes them.

I don't know. That's the first time I've ever been made aware of a post being deleted. It was a pretty weak post, though.
