Childress may go to Vikings head coach job..: Brad Childress the offensive guru of the Philadelphia Eagles may soon Be headcoach of the Minnesota Vikings. As if this past year wasn't a disaster for the Eagles, they must now search for a new offensive co-ordinator...but that could be a cloud with a silver lining, since the Eagles offense did not seem to bother most nfl teams this past season.On the other hand this appears to be a solid step for the Vikings who could once again become a factor in the nfl.

at the time of the article the deal was close to finalization, with Friday being the date given as finalization of the deal.

The article was updated shortly after I posted, so it seems most of the responders saw the update, not the original story. There seemed to be no doubt of the hiring, just some final details, so the update didn't change the essense of the post. Besides it is nice to be called a brilliant poster...
