Okay, you're talking about another race. Gotcha.

He's dry alright; as a popcorn fart, but I didn't get "funny" even sometimes. Sarcasm and insults are the weapons that cowards wield. Any fan can take a little ribbing, especially from rivals. It's even fun. Dang, though, whose got the unmitigated gall to jump on Favre at this stage of his personal and professional life? What a chump.

Who of you didn't know five years ago in the great home run race that Mac and Sosa were juiced? Really? Now everybody is soooo righteous about it. Fans collectively ignored it when they knew damn well what was up. This is just what baseball has become, so who is to blame? Who created the monster? Fans ate it up for all those years all the way through Bonds, jumping into the friggin' San Fran Bay and everything else and now just shake heads and act appalled. Gimme a break, self-righteous wankers.

I'm with Panteeze. I've been talking about a fan strike since the first baseball b.s. all those years ago. Everybody applauds and oohs and ahhs these yoyo's big money, but I can't even afford to take my four sons to a ballgame because of it. When will someone remind them that they get PAID to PLAY in the PARK all DAY, then get to take half the year off. We fans are suckers; too loyal, too delusional, thinking it is still somehow made up of the dreams of our youth. We'll never let them down the way they've let us down.
