I always liked his attitude. That being said I can't beleive Drew Sharp wrote a well thought out and nicely written article and not some venom spewing garbage......good for him.

What a great guy. A little too great maybe. Has anyone ever seen him and Greg Maddux together in the same room? Speaking of retiring to the great office job in the sky, Glen Wesley, aka "Big Red", called it a career yesterday afternoon. Of course, he's got a job in the front office. He'll be in charge of defenseman development. I think, though, that a team needs to have defensemen before you can develop them. And his jersey number (2) will be retired in a ceremony next season.

Yzerman's a class guy, and I wondered where he was during the celebration. I heard he stayed up in the suite/box during the celebration and that he carried the cup off of the team plane in Detroit.

As a Blackhawks fan, I've always had tremendous respect for Yzerman. I don't think you could find a better definition of 'class' than him.

As a long-time Leaf fan, I always booed the Red Wings, but I never booed Yzerman.

Meanwhile, the ownership of the Toronto Maple Leafs shows ass, nothing but ass. Yzerman's a class guy, and I wondered where he was during the celebration.
