Planes toting ads to fly at World Series: This makes me a little bit nervous. But...whatta ya gonna do? Life must go on, right?

When I went to a Jays/Yankees game in September, my friend and I sat in a predominantly New York visitor/tour section at Skydome. Lots of Jeter jerseys, lots of Yankee caps, lots of accents. (side note: Wanna piss of Yankee fans? Just turn to your friend and say in a loud enough voice: "Did you know that Jeter is the worst fielding shortstop in the American League?" It's true, but they don't like to hear such "blasphemy".) During the game, there was an air show going on over the lake for Labour Day, an annual tradition. Well, part of their fly route is to take them over the lakeshore area to loop around and go back over the CNE crowd. At one point a small stunt jet flew beside Skydome and, from the angle we were sitting at, directly at the CN Tower (right next door). We heard numerous gasps and small shrieks as the plane disappeared behind the tower as it sure as heck did look like it was going to slam into it full speed. The New Yorkers murmured over this incident for at least 15 minutes.

I can't decide if this is paranoia, or delusions of grandeur...
