Darko Milicic has an interest in meeting the families of referees: Milicic, newly acquired by the Memphis Grizzlies, apparently wasn't too thrillled with the officiating during a Serbia loss to Greece in the European Championships. Check out both the video of his postgame interview and the translation provided by a helpful Freep reader.

Milicic is in the running for worst top-five lottery pick ever.all this did was get him more votes.if he put as much heart into being a player as he put into being a sore loser,he might have been somebody.

Yo,wfraz, maybe you can explain this. When the Pistons made Darko their #1 draft pick, then chained him to the bench forever, I thought, yeah maybe he isn't quite ready to play NBA ball. But when they traded him I'm like ???? Because I'm deluding myself into thinking its the 80's again and here is Big Bad Ass Bill Lambeer and this Motown might 3peat like they could have except when Larry snatched the ball, gave it to DJ (God Bless HIS soul) and the ball goes swish on the dunk on the PARQUET floor in the Garden and the Pistons are out of the Finals and Boston is up against the West for the World Championship.

Good Lord, he said that about an Italian's mother? What he said is horrible for anyone, but Italian culture places mothers in special reverence, so it's pretty much the worst insult he could have used. I can see some situations where the rage Chico talks about would come in handy, but this is after they lose, too late to do anything about it. It's the worst kind of chickenshit bravado, going after someone who can't fight back, delivered through the media instead of face to face. Pretty much par for the course for this guy.

Wow. Somewhere, escaped Serbian war criminals are saying, "Come on, that's a little too far." An embarrassment to the whole Serbian national team; alas, poor Jaric.

Is this a bad tirade? Sure. But I don't think he'd actually go through with it. (After all, Dorothy Mantooth is a saint. A saint!) Well, on the upside, at least he gives a shit about winning. If I were the Grislies, I'd see that as a promising development in itself, anyway. He'll be fined, maybe disciplined, have a good talking to, maybe some anger management training, maybe (even better) some how-to-talk-to-the-media classes, but honestly, I thought this rage didn't exist in him, and that's why he's had such a hard time breaking through. Glad at least that's not the problem.
