Chelsea is a Mickey Mouse company.: Chelsea ties up with Disney in a youth football partnership, as official pro soccer club for Disney's Wide World of Sports and presenting sponsor of the Disney Soccer Showcase Series. Perhaps ESPN will take soccer seriously now: "Further talks are planned to see how Chelsea can work with the various entertainment and media brands within Disney."

This will be very cool if it brings Chelsea to play at Orlando's Wide World of Sports complex. Orlando draws so many British tourists to Disney World that several British papers are available here -- I pick up the Daily and Sunday Mail each time I'm there to catch up on EPL news. One of my cousins played youth soccer against a South African team at that complex. They run events constantly.

Billy: Seeing John Terry run around with Mickey ears on might actually make me like Chelsea.

rcade: Don't know if Chelsea will play at the Complex, but this might be the next best thing: "An annual educational exchange program will also be created where at least one Chelsea academy team will visit and compete at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex. In exchange, the club will bring a winning team from a selected Disney soccer tournament to be their guests at a Chelsea match and train at their academy." Maybe your kids will get to play at Chelsea!

Less media and money for the NHL.

Maybe the team will add the mouse ears cap to their player kit.
