How can it not be a sport? Hand-eye coordination, physical skill and talent all required - plus the requisite danger of life and limb...

jlh, it is generally unacceptable on SpoFi to pop into a thread about a sport that doesn't interest you a proclaim it not a sport in your opinion. In addition, please try to use punctuation and decent capitalization when posting. Please refer to the new user message and posting guidelines. Welcome to SportsFilter!

any rodeo collection of links that doesn't include The Calgary Stampede is a little thin. Actually, it was not meant to be a "rodeo collection of links". This rodeo does not have the ability to compete with the Calgary Stampede,or Cheyenne Frontier Days, or The National Western Stock Show, or the NFR, either monetarily, or as an event conceived to draw many fans from within its city's borders, it survives merely because of tradition, and the perserverance of the towns rodeo committee. I thought it would make an interesting read for those who might be curious. all i am voicing is that in my opinion this shouldn't even be considered a sport You are correct. It is a way of life for many people.....

I do. Though I will say that any rodeo collection of links that doesn't include The Calgary Stampede is a little thin.
