Wrong Turn.: SI catches up with the Chris Andersen, ten months after his two year suspension for using a "drug of abuse". He's cleaned his act up, and has plans on making a stab at getting back into the NBA after his suspension is over.

Before any of the one-off kind of people that want to slag on Chris and his Slam-Dunk performance comment on this, can I just say: Read the article. Every word. Even if you subscribe to SI, the article online is incredibly good. At the moment, it may get my vote for Sports Article of the year. Again, read the entire article.

I'll second that. A very good article indeed. What a rarity in pro sport these days to actually own up to actions and bear the full responsibility for them. I hope that it all works out for him. From all accounts, it seems that he really is a "good guy".

Yeah, it's a rarity, and the (excellent, agreed) article shows why. He was easy to pull for before this all went down, and he'll be even easier when he gets back. Why is the steroid policy so loose compared to the other-drug policy in the NBA? And why is Stephen Jackson still playing?

Well, I don't have time to read the article. It's hard enough to read SpoFi. This is currently one of twelve windows open on my desk top, and it's been minimized into a teeny little four inch square so to avoid anyone being able to see me shirking first thing in the morning. It's tough, pal - so I can't read the article without jeopardizing my livelyhood. Ha - just kidding. My corner office has windows on two sides and the only person who sees me shirk is my assistant, who brings coffee and oral sex. The next thing I have is a 9:30 massage. I just can't be bothered to read the article. Anyway, my point is none of these athletes works for a living (they play a game) and we should all think they are stupid for doing drugs and getting caught. Or something like that. No - we should revel in their inadequacies for they are evidence of my contempt being righteous and accurate. And that they are stupider than me. Yeah, that's it.

Great article. . . I hope he makes it back. You can never have too many "energy guys," can you?
