CFL - Week 19 Preview: Apoch breaks down the matchups.

Some thoughts:

  • With a last-week bye anyway, I suspect Calgary's starters will play most of the game.
  • The East seems to be in trouble, having posted a 6-25 overall record against quality opponents. I do believe that most of those victories were of a recent nature, though. This week should be a good indication of each division's strength.
  • I would expect Toronto to play above its season Hog Index and YPA, because both Ricky Williams and John Avery will be dressed for only the second time this season. When both of them are playing, Toronto is able to establish the run much more consistently than when only one is dressed. Toronto establishing the run = more time for Damon Allen in the pocket = deadly passing game.
