John Duddy wins a hellacious 12-round unanimous decision: over former junior middleweight world champion Yory Boy Campas in a fight of the year candidate. (Campas was previously interviewed on sportsfilter.)

This fight has been nominated for "Fight of the Year" by Boxing World. I didn't see it in person but hope some of you got a chance to see it. Anyway, I did say he would test Duddy like no one has to date. Duddy has to postpone his next bout because he was so beat-up. I'm still a Campas fan and he conducted himself with pure class in this fight and in post fight interviews. Still proud of this "Champion"

"he conducted himself with pure class in this fight and in post round interviews." I hope Duddy takes a page from Yory Boy's book and is able to display as much class on his way up the boxing ladder. Sounds like Yory Boy gave him all he wanted, but 12 rounds against a much younger opponent is a tough row to hoe...
