Longer College Football Season : means more revenue for struggling athletic departments. But do the benefits outweigh the costs?
the costs of lengthening the season have been the top arguments against instituting a playoff system. now the ncaa is getting more games while still stroking the bowl fat cats. amatuer sports my ass -- the only ppl who dont get paid is the players.

But do the benefits outweigh the costs? well, since the season is longer, that probably means the university's will have to pay more for all kinds of things, but i'm pretty sure the costs of those will be covered by the extra revenue lengthening the season brings.
