The end for Jacques?: Villeneuve is not in Hungary for this weekend's Grand Prix, in what looks to be an early and quiet exit from F1. Meanwhile, Québec media are buzzing about the prodigal son coming to NASCAR in 2007. Apparently, there is already a conditional deal with a team. It's silly season all right.

I missed the last two races, but I find it funny that NASCAR is turning into the F1 retirement home.

Hey Drood, Schumacher didnt do anythoing wrong in Germany. He exited the pit ahead of Alonso , so what whats the big deal. Also if Ferrari win the title it will be because Michelin screwed up and didnt give Renault the proper tire to win with.

Alonso brakechecks Doornbos and gets handed a two second penalty to all his qualifying times, guaranteeing he's pretty much out of contention. ... He exited the pit ahead of Alonso , so what whats the big deal. Those two comments pretty much state the problems right there. A bad qualifying position guarantees a bad finish, and pit stop strategy wins races. Both are true because there's very little passing (without a blue flag involved, at least). There has not been an overtaking move for the lead all season. The cars are interesting, but the racing is a joke.

F1 is a joke. Schumacher doesn't even get bitched at for deliberately screwing with Alonso in the pits in Germany. Alonso brakechecks Doornbos and gets handed a two second penalty to all his qualifying times, guaranteeing he's pretty much out of contention. Why don't the fucking FIA just hand fucking Ferrari the title so we can be done with this stupid season. As for Jacques... Yep, makes sense. First Montoya, now Jacques... Almost like they're TRYING to chase anyone with any personality out of the sport. At the top we'll be left with a cheat, a bore and a mime. (Schumacher, Alonso and Raikkonen respectively.)
