Texas Rangers owner going Cuban?: The Rangers have had a bunch of bad calls go against them in last week, but I'm surprised to see their owner call up the commissioner to complain. Wonder if he's going to send video.

Heck, I thought I was the one of the last Rangers/Mavs fans left. Hell we havent had good call in long long while!! Good point about not getting them reversed, its just the NBA is easier to give you the "make-up" calls. It's hard to reverse a blantant fair ball that was called foul!!!

MLB has a few really poor umpires, Joe West and Doug Eddings come to mind easily. Complaining to the Commissioner is a legitimate act and one that I think has merit and can offer results. After blowing a call in last years AL playoffs Doug Eddings is not scheduled to work in Anaheim all season. I think that is a reaction to his poor performance. I see calls get reversed occasionally. When a manager questions a call, other than balls and strikes, and the umpires meet to discuss the play -- sometimes an umpire will defer to another Ump who had a better view. But it does happen.

The Mav's seemed to have gotten plenty of good calls during the Spurs series. Is this considered make up calls?

the ranger's aren't in the same league as the maverick's. who gives a crap. there are 80 games left in the season. prove it out on the field.

Yep, us Mav/Rangers fans have seen some stinkers the last month, but, bitching won't reverse a call thats been made already. All you can do is hope they even out.
