Move over, Annika: Kelly Kulick has become the first woman to reach fully exempt status on the Professional Bowlers Association Tour. Kulick finished sixth at the PBA's version of Q-School and rolled a perfect game during the event.

This girl has not earned anything! PERIOD! What has she done? What has she won? I for one am sick and damn tired of hearing about her. Not only Wie Kulick, but having any woman play a PGA PBA event is a crock of shit! Look, I never said she wasn't impressive, I just don't think she is worthy of the breathless coverage to the exclusion of other golfers bowlers who are just as good as she is and who are actually WINNING. (Also, her periods will attract bears, and bears can't bowl either! Also girls are icky! They have cooties and stuff!)

You know, rereading that first comment (Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V are a hack comic's best friends), it just makes me sad. Given that the PWBA folded, I hope (and expect) there are more Kulicks out there. It sounds like the bowling world is more enlightened than the golf world on this stuff, and that's kind of depressing.
