Super Superbowl fan: He's attended all 39!: When you ask Henschel about those $2 million ads the Super Bowl is famous for, he just grins and shakes his head. "Never seen them," he said. "I've never seen the game on television."

I was there at Super Bowl XIV with the guy to watch the Steelers beat the LA Rams. I was only 10 but it was memorable. My dad probably had to shell out $200 for tickets -- a lot of cash back then.

wow...that's incredible...but still, the ability to get to go to EVERY game is just like...uh, what's the word I'm looking for...LUCK! (that and deep pockets)

I wonder if anyone ever asked him how much of an investment the tickets have been. Plus the transportation to all the games. This guy has probably spent som people's yearly incomes just on the getting there portion. It would be nice just to see one of them without having to tolerate all of the stupid assed ads that are forced upon us. As it is, I just hit the 'mute' button and get another Miller.

The "investment" is in yer head I'd imagine. It would be nice to be his grandson however. Forget tickets, how 'bout dem $8.00 beers and $12.00 cheese-steaks? I remember sneaking three beer cans wrapped up like a hoagie into game 5 of the 92-93 World Series Phillies-BlueJays(Ugh) and smokin a joint on the concourse at The Vet.R.I.P. P.S. The Phils won 2-0 on a Curt Schilling gem

Id like to go to just one Super Bowl, just to be in the middle of all the excitement. But agree, you can see it better at home, alot cheaper, and alot safer. But to be there................(priceless)

Wow that's unbeleivable. Did you keep all your stubs or some other kind of keepsake. I enjoying watching them at home only because I've never been to the SUPERBOWL. But if I had the chance I would be there in a Heartbeat.

No. It has nothing to do with luck. THAT's the kind of happiness that money CAN buy. It's all about the cash.

Henschel's Super Bowl streak began when he was working as a baggage agent at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. He took a second job bartending at a hangout for flight attendants. Sounds like he was a hard working joe like most of us. More power to him, I hope to get to at least 1 home game for my Steelers before I die. :o)
