"There are buccaneers and cutthroat types in every conference," Pierce wrote. "And then there is Conference USA." Memphis' John Calipari, Pierce writes, "shouldn't be allowed on a college campus without an armed escort."

I read that same article yesterday at Barnes and Noble. The general theme of the article, and what I've been saying for a long time, is that there's very little difference between pro basketball and college basketball. Both are very big business with the goal of making money given the highest priority.
