Hidden: Packers and Rams reportedly fire their debris....: A Fox News source received four minutes ago reprted that Ram's coach Martz and Packers' coach Sherman have been fired. There are those of us that are glad to see at least one of these.
tice lost control of the team at times and probably had to go. martz forgot how to call running plays. sherman hasn't been great, but i just hope this move doesn't mean the end of brett favre.

Sherman's firing is a surprise to me. The Packers will likely be rebuilding around Javon Walker, Sam Gado, and Aaron Rodgers so maybe a younger, more imaginative coach is necessary. As for Martz, the writing has been on the wall for quite a while now. The ownership in St. Louis is so screwed up it will be years before the Rams are a factor again. Mike Martz is lucky, in a way, to get out now before the decimation of this once proud franchise.
