what i like about the story is that he uses statistical analyses to disprove the lies and damned lies, but bi-line is an homage to a famous quote from Sam Clemens (aka Mark Twain, jik): 'There are lies, damned lies and then there are statistics'

The problem with the NBA is the playoffs. They last forever. Hockey has the same problem.

The number of playoff teams should be shortened. Sub .500 teams, in any sport, have no buisness being in the playoffs.

My main beef with the NBA is that the schedule is just too long. I would rather see an abbreviated 50 game season at the most. Injury and exhasution just set in during the later parts of the season, then we go through the first 2 rounds of the playoffs that take FOREVER.
