Good link, aupa. Star, at least Butt isn't playing with Arse...let the double entendres fly...or hit the fan....whatever... The last thing United need is Owen. We already have one poacher waiting around for others to do the work...we sure don't need the midget version doing the same.

Headlines aside, would Butt, or someone like Phil Neville (50 caps) have ever played for England if they weren't United players? If they were with other clubs, you would never have noticed them. This is the real story of Nicky Butt in the last couple of years - he just wasn't that good.

BBC Football rumors column for Thursday says the only EPL team in the running for Owen is... Newcastle. Will he be another name who goes there and sees his career go splat? Or with Le Tallec off on loan and Crouch hurt already will Rafa have second thoughts about bringing him home?

I don't understand what was so bad about Newcastle and Butt... He didn't get much playing time because of injuries, so it was hard to say whether he fit in. And how about Owen going to Manchester United!? I think i'm going to vomit violently!
