Soccer legend Pele admits: that his 35 year old son Edihno was one of roughly 50 people recently arrested in Sao Paulo under suspicion of ties with a cocaine trafficking gang. The Hindustan Times also reports that this particular gang is suspected of involvement with the kidnapping of the mother of Brazilian superstar Robhino. As a followup to the thread, Robhino's mother was freed late in December after a ransom of some $200,000 was paid.

I don't see where Bush's daughters have been involved in drugs or trafficking! Nice dig but it was completely stupid. If you don't like Bush, you at least can come up with a relevant fact and not some empty lie. Then again, CBS and John Kerry love making up lies.

You never heard of Bubbya sneaking around to do coke while he was in the Guard or at Camp David while his father was preseident? Who opened that idiot gate again?

maybe you ought to learn to read between the lines Tex, as well as STRETCH your powers of observation because you MISSED it by a country mile boy. Calling someone an idiot only makes you look like a bigger one. Everyone agree? Memo to Tex: we were talking about the offspring of a famous person..that is what the story, hence the reference I made. otherwie, it is aplles and oranges. Seems like people online really are naive and need a place to vent because in real life, people would just walk away from suck ignorance.

Is this a Sports topic or a political topic? It's a nice reference to the longing for the bush daughter to be charged with drug affiliation, but seriously, stop the hating. Who really cares if some sports stars kid is a bad egg? As long as it's not the star messing up it is all ok.

I would want to hear the whole story before laying into Edinho, but it would appear a son of privilege would have better things to do with his time than to get involved with the seedier side of life. Hmmm...tell that to the Kennedys. Or Bush's.
