From the DOJ: "Harkness was arrested by officials in Dubai who also worked with the U.S. Marshals liaison to INTERPOL and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in their international quest to apprehend Harkness." Dubai, INTERPOL, U.S. Marshals and the Texas Fugitive Task Force. International intrigue, oh my! They were only missing Team America World Police!

That story's going to make a hell of a movie on either Lifetime or ESPN. The Car & Driver piece reads like the writer was going through a rough divorce at the time. None of the men are at fault -- not the boyfriend who was cheating on his wife and began embezzling before they met nor the hard-drinking California judge who hooked up with her at her nudie bar and had a kid with her. Callous as it may seem that Angela was willing to turn on Jones and help send him to prison, it was better than the fate that befell Dion Harkness, her late husband. Fate didn't just befall him. He blew his own brains out, leaving his child without a father. Watch out boys, she'll chew you up!

Here's an interesting sidenote: When Angela's Motorsports fell apart, driver Mike McLaughlin told the story of not being able to race on XM's NASCAR channel. Listeners came up with $80,000 in donations so he could enter a few races.
