"It's gonna be an extravaganza!": or How an Indian created a baseball league. I wonder how many serious prospects would be willing to blow off the MLB structure to sign with them. My guess is this would be a place for overlooked prospects to get some exposure. If I were a hard-throwing young pitcher with some command, or maybe a three (true) outcomes type player, this league could be the place to catch a major league club's eye.

Sounds weird to me, although copying the MLS ownership strategy is a good idea. I wonder how many serious prospects would be willing to blow off the MLB structure to sign with them.
