Caponomics, part 1: Deadline to use your franchise tag is Tuesday, deadline to be under the salary cap is a week from Monday. Can anyone start getting excited about NFL 2K6 yet or will you wait for the Draft in two months?

I'm still excited about 2K5. And thinking about 2K6 (especially since Bruschi's incident increases the Pats' need for a young linebacker or two). Thanks for the post.

I was reading a commit about the hockey lockout and no hockey for this year. We forgave baseball when they did it.All I have to watch is Central hockey league, the little guys, which is cool too. It is sad when a product out prices itself. What are they going to do when it cost to much for the blue collar people to come.

Football has it all: The perfect-length season, cuts made this month, signings start right after, the draft, then right into speculation about next season and, before you know it, training camps. The NFL knows how to do it, and they keep interest high all year around. I live in the frigid northeast, and the only thing that keeps me from getting too excited about next football season is it means all our warm weather (all three months of it) will be over.
