Sad piece of garbage? Jesus, that's laying it on a bit thick, no?

Proto, What gives? R u a militant dog lover?

Oh, another prospect who couldn't hack it - not exactly a short list. The dog thing is weird though.

You guys don't find dog fighting morally reprehensible? I gotta say, Proto isn't too far off the mark with his/her assessment about *anybody* who is so activally involved in dog fighting. I have two dogs myself, but I wouldn't call myself any sort of animal rights activist. (and why is GoogleAds showing nothing but ads for hockey sweaters?)

The article said he had had antibiotics, heavy chains, bloody dog prints, etc. and that he had abandoned an injured dog. Sounds like he has some serious issues to me.

I find moral relativity morally reprehensible.

Here's a little Q&A with Blazers Team President, Steve Patterson. Note: He does not mention a black pit in hell.

You guys don't find dog fighting morally reprehensible? Sure, but I still think the histrionics are a little silly.

Sure, but I still think the histrionics are a little silly. OK, OK--now that I've had my little fun, I must confess, the fire and brimstone stuff was mostly an attempt at dry humor. I may be too new to this forum to be utilizing it, though, so perhaps all the stuff about Satan's white-hot furnaces and what not came off as a little goofy. However...I do remain unwavering and very sincere in my belief that Woods is a piece of garbage. I don't think those are too harsh of words at all for yet another coddled athlete who thinks sociopathic behavior is acceptable. Bottom line: he should be escorted to the city limits and kicked out of town by sundown (OK, it's already after sundown now on the West Coast but that's beside the point). He sucks, we all know it, end of story--case closed. *BANGS GAVEL*

He sucks, we all know it, end of story--case closed. *BANGS GAVEL* I decree that this line must be used every time someone brings up Roger Clemens, Peyton Manning or any member of the NHL management team!

Who's Gavel and where does she live?

I find moral relativity morally reprehensible. Yeah, and you probably think that Rod Stewart sang for the Small Faces.

Proto, welcome aboard. One of the most valuable things I take from this site are the viewpoints from other areas of the country (not to mention the world) that people have on their local teams and athletes. Glad to see Portland is represented.
