Brazil face Greece in 2005 Confed Cup: World champions Brazil will face European champions Greece in the group stage of the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup while hosts Germany meet Argentina. Monday's draw put Brazil, who won the Confederations Cup in 1997, in Group B with Japan, Mexico and Greece while Germany are joined in Group A by Tunisia and Australia plus Argentina.

I must be missing something--why do Europe and South America get two teams in? Anyway, I'm looking forward to on the scene reports from WorldCup since he will be there for work.

Here's why there are two for Euro and two for S. America. Brazil are World Cup champions. Argentina are CONMEBOL (Copa America) runners-up -- Brazil won that too (with their "B" team, including the ass-kicking Adriano). Basically, the Argies were the next top S. Am. team to get in because Brazil already had a spot. Germany are in because they are hosts. Greece are in because they actually won something.

btw, I doubt I will be there. Thanks to the beauty of online work, you don't really need to be there to get the work done. Shite.

You need to learn how to market your boss just little bit better, my friend. And you still owe me lunch!

This whole competition is a pointless waste of time which should be discontinued immediately.
