Cecil Fielder: : "This isn’t a story of a hero who went bad, but a hero who got sick." The sad story of Big Daddy, whose Big Son is caught in the middle of the dispute. Wonder if the MLB is interested in this line from Juan Samuel:

"A lot of times it starts small, a little bet here and there, maybe even in the clubhouse— before you know, things get out of hand."

Nice find. But let's be honest about the Cecil Fielder years. Some athletes, no matter how talented they are, should avoid form fitting attire.

Eh. He would never have made it in figure skating anyway. Or the White Sox short pants from the '70s.

This story makes me sad. Cecil is one of my all-time favorite Tiger. He almost got my ass kicked in Milwaukee. I was there for a game and Cecil knocked one out and I got a bit too excited and the Brewer fans took exception.
