Just more evidence that the owners screwed themselves. Perhaps if the players union bought ought the owners and ran it as a collective...

I was partly thinking Danton, too..

Raise your hand if you'd like to see Bettman and Goodenow settle their dispute à la Hockey Gladiators. Thank you.

I was surprised the article didn't mention Fedorov's offer sheet with the Carolina Whalers. Detroit had to match with a fat front-end offer for making the semi-finals. It was 1997-98, the same year as Kariya's. The year each of them played twenty-two games. (Clever title, garfield.)

thanks, phil. Ok, I've been googling this morning attempting to find Swedish Elite League scores, stats, and game summaries, but I'm having a bit of trouble. So far I've found The Local, and that's about it. Does anyone have links they can share so I can continue my love affair with hockey with being blackmailed by the NHL/PA?

Once again, Ordinary Least Square covers this topic better than anyone else I've seen.
