Stop my country's nuclear weapons program? Check. What's next? Buy a Premiership football club.: Libyan leader and international fashion plate Colonel Muammar Gaddafi (also father of the latest and sexiest member of Saddam Hussein's legal defense team) is thinking of buying newly-promoted Crystal Palace. This may not be as far-fetched as you think. Palace chairman Simon Jordan wants a way to cash out of Palace after taking them to the Premiership, and Gaddafi has done this before: He's part-owner of Juventus. Yoiks!

Call Playboy, we need a Daughters of Dictators pictorial! Seriously, how in the world would an Englishman (and CP is currently controlled by one) sell to this jizzbag?

Jordan is an utter wanker. Any more questions?

Totally, squealy. See what Jordan had to say (from the main posted article):

"At the end of the day, many people might see Roman Abramovich's involvement at Chelsea as less than palatable, but he is moving the club forward. "If Gaddafi's money was able to progress Palace and allow them to compete at the top of the tree and be a successful football club, then one would have to take that into consideration," added Jordan. ... The 36-year-old millionaire said: "I have achieved what I have set out to do. I don't enjoy football any more."
Wanker.

What kind of person would even entertain selling his team to the architect of the Lockerbie terror bombing? That quote alone ought to be enough to drum that scumbag owner out of pro sports in England. It's 100 times worse than anything Marge Schott ever said.

Well, well, now it seems neither Gaddafi nor Jordan are aware of any interest in buying the club. Surprise. Wankers.
