Carter to Dallas?: Okay, okay. It's a NY Daily News link. And the proposed deal is complicated as all hell. But still, intriguing no?

That can't have been the full deal in the article. If all Toronto gets is Shandon Anderson for Carter, then Babcock should be fired right away.

Naw it's just written from a Knicks perspective. We'd also probably get... Othella Harrington. Excuse me while I go throw up now.

Nav Bhatia got to go to Carter's wedding? Ha. What a fan. well, he's got those great seats under the basket and must've been with the team since day one.

My buddy used to have seasons tickets right behind Nav. On at least a dozen occassions I sat there and got to enjoy the game with Mr. Raptor Superfan. They treat him very well. I was there for Vince's career high regular season game and his 50 point playoff game. Nav is relentlessly heckling the opposing bench, but his voice is kinda raspy (no doubt from being there 41 times a year) and he's non-stop so it's funny in all the right ways. The last time the Raps were in the playoffs he took my friend in a limo to Detroit for courtside action. A really great guy to basketball fans everywhere.

If by "intriguing" you mean, "completely fabricated", then yes, it is. Raptors GM Rob Babcock has publicly refuted this rumor. Babcock will not trade Vince unless he gets a marquee player in return. Vince puts butts in seats and nobody in this imaginary deal can make up for that.

Or the Raptors could do Vince a solid, and fire Peddie, McCloskey, and Kelly instead.
