...and bollocks to the S-T's site, which worked fine from google but not here (even thought I did the requisite "copy link location" thing). Stories abound here.

I think Iv watched 2 minutes of one game of an MLS game ever. But how old is ADU now? 15 or 16? Anyway Im not much of a soccer fan but it will be interesting to see how he develops and if he can live up to the hype in a few years on the world stage when it really matters.

2 June '89......so 15. Which is fun, b/c he has a tendendy to go into the game right around the 75th minute.

Donovan, welcome, you will find that we do a fairly high percentage of soccer threads here, so start watching more games. Canada has a great new coach (he was our Earthquakes coach the past three years and led them to two league cups) and I think have an outside shot to qualify for the 2006 World Cup, especially with the fourth place CONCACAF side getting an extra shot. Kreis record is cool but has done this scoring very quietly.

And yes, I don't expect this to be the most fruitful thread, but I was there, in the rain, and go to witness a record being set. And that's allright in my book.
