Bleacher-Bum Cone ready to start "Yankees Suck!" chant at Fenway...: Well, somehow I doubt it. Cone isn't picthing this year, but apparently he's been buying tickets. He was in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium last Friday, and apparently plans on sitting in the right-field stands at Fenway Saturday when the Yankees visit Boston.
What would you say to him if you we're in the bleachers with him? He did pitch for the Sox last year, but face it, this guy's a Yankee. Don't expect the Fenway crowd to start genuflecting or anything.

Yeah, I see your point, he's been around the league, but to me as a Red Sox fan, when a guy plays for the Yankees, he's pretty much always a Yankee.
I mean, Roger Clemens spent a good amount of time in Boston, and then proceeded to go to the Yankees by way of Toronto. He's forever altered his legacy by playing for the Yankees. He had a few great years with the Jays, but Sox fans will always remember him for going to the enemy. Had he stayed in Toronto or just gone to Texas, he wouldn't be held in the same contempt he is for going Pinstripes on us.
If he ever showed up in the bleachers, it would probably get ugly.

Cone a Yankee? Remember the old Star Trek episode with the wandering satellite with a bad attitude? "I am Nomad". Without resorting to looking him up, I remember him as a Met, Royal, Blue Jay, Yankee, and Red Sox.The tour is cool though. I'd ask him about Cal's last game, which he started. I'd avoid the '86 series considering where I was though!
