Alive, aliveo: Not sure what's more newsworthy - the Irish victory or the English magnanimity in defeat. Well done to both teams.

/grits teeth Congratulations to the Irish on a job well done. Does this mean that England won't win the Six nations again? Oh, and congratulations to Italy for turning Scotland over too.

England can still win the six nations. They have to beat France though. If they don't, then France win. If they do, then each of France, England and Ireland will have lost one game each (assuming the rest go to form) and it will be decided on points scored.

Ireland were superb, I thought. Especially the first 20 minutes of the second half. And their try was excellent. I still think we can beat France though (but I also think Wales can beat us too). Its been quite a good tournament so far, except for Scotland, obviously.

Ireland deserved it. They played well and we played badly. End of story.
