OH MY GOD!: One of the most exciting games I have ever seen... I almost had a freakin' heart attack...no joke! I got up after City's leveller and felt lightheaded...almost fell over. And then when they got the winner in the last minute I pulled a muscle somewhere. The FA Cup has never been more intense...well at least since I've been alive. Manchester City beat Tottenham 4-3...away, with Anelka and their first 2 keepers out, playing with 10 men after halftime and down 3-0... Unbelievable.

How did you SEE this match, SF? It wasn't on the FSW schedule that I have in TiVo.

Any chance this will be on Fox Sports World or somewhere else I might catch it?

I saw the second half of this in the pub tonight - I had no fucking idea that Man City were down to ten men - it was pretty amazing anyway - when I got home and found out that Man City were down to ten men - well basically, it's almost too ridiculous to believe. Best comeback (in the English game at least) since this.

Bugger. I decided to stay in to save money/liver and missed the game live. At least I got to see the highlights without knowing the final score though. Bugger.

I caught the highlights on the Canadian sports highlight channel and I was absolutely flabbergasted by what I saw. Was this a home win or on the road? I couldn't tell from the crowd shots or skimming the article (I don't know who plays in what stadium). The American equivalent (being absolutely out of it in the first half and winning in the second) that I can think of is this game.

Man City were away from home. Spurs did this two years ago, too.

grum, were the Buffalo Bills without their leading scorer? Or without there two top defensive players? Were they playing with a man down?

Actually, SF, they played the entire game without their starting quarterback (Jim Kelly) or top linebacker (Cornelieus Bennett) and their starting running back (Thurman Thomas) was injured early on and didn't play most of the game. The best European football translation would be to be playing the entire game without your top scorer, top defender and having your best midfielder go down with an injury. Throw in the fact that they had less time (29 minutes instead of 45) and needed to score more (5 touchdowns instead of 4 goals), and you might even consider it an even bigger comeback than the Man City one.

Were they at home?
