Wales with a last minute hat-trick?: Russia beat Wales in the playoffs for Euro 2004 in November - but now one of Russia's players has been convicted of using a banned substance. "The FAW, in citing various Uefa disciplinary regulation and Uefa regulation governing doping control articles, has asked Uefa to award the match to Wales with a 3-0 result," the FAW said in a statement. Is it just me, or does that sound greedy to anyone else?
When your teams best player is the mighty Robbie Savage, one guy on drugs is easily enough to beat the whole side. Thats why England need Rio back for the world cup qualifier next season.

It's greedy, but worth a shot, surely. I'd be attacked the FAW if they hadn't tried this!

aaronscullion, are you Welsh? That could explain the strange grammar of your second sentence.

No, not Welsh.. but I am a rubbish typist. "attacking the FAW" "attacking the FAW" "attacking the FAW" "attacking the FAW" "attacking the FAW"

Using words like rubbish means for sure you are not USian, though.

Thanks StarFucker. I'll be able to speak American soon, I reckon. That football kit is rubbish==That soccer uniform is trash (that sounds like some badly garbled nonsense google translation)

When your teams best player is the mighty Robbie Savage Ryan Giggs not worthy of a mention?

Don't they have a decent goalkeeper too?

When your teams best player is the mighty Robbie Savage Ryan Giggs not worthy of a mention? Yeah, sorry, I was joking (although loads of Welsh fans hate Giggs for his (perceived) lack of commitment to the national team). Wales have some excellent players, really, but no depth, I suppose. Unsurprisingly, for a nation with 2million inhabitants.

Yes, Bill, they have Southamptons reserve keeper who has just been offloaded on loan to some depressed northern club, for a bit of experience.

Two things: 1) MY team? I'm not Welsh. I wouldn't be associated with those footballing minows for all the tea in China. I'm Northern Irish *cough* 2) Americans don't talk rubbish? Please.
