Wales with a last minute hat-trick?: Russia beat Wales in the playoffs for Euro 2004 in November - but now one of Russia's players has been convicted of using a banned substance. "The FAW, in citing various Uefa disciplinary regulation and Uefa regulation governing doping control articles, has asked Uefa to award the match to Wales with a 3-0 result," the FAW said in a statement. Is it just me, or does that sound greedy to anyone else?
When your teams best player is the mighty Robbie Savage, one guy on drugs is easily enough to beat the whole side. Thats why England need Rio back for the world cup qualifier next season.

It's greedy, but worth a shot, surely. I'd be attacked the FAW if they hadn't tried this!

Yeah, sorry, I was joking (although loads of Welsh fans hate Giggs for his (perceived) lack of commitment to the national team). Wales have some excellent players, really, but no depth, I suppose. Unsurprisingly, for a nation with 2million inhabitants.
