Hmmmm...Mike McDaniel makes to Thursday before getting fired from the Dolphins job. A day after John Harbaugh got fired from the Ballmer job.

Because Harbaugh can't wait to coach Tua after tearing his hair out trying to figure out how to win with Lamar.

/Looks at Tua's salary.

Oof, there's not much to do there with that situation? The Dolphins can't just say 'screw it, cut him anway!'?

Dolphins are in sort of the same situation Denver was in.

They fired Hackett and cut Russ Wilson. They ate a ton of dead cap.

The difference being that the Broncos' new ownership group had a GM that turned out to be worth hanging onto (Paton) when the villagers were out with the pitchforks. It was courageous of them to ignore the yelling and move forward with Paton.

Those owners learned well and learned fast. Look how quickly they got to the top of the conference after that body blow.

Stephen Ross is a Geppetto puppet compared to the Denver ownership. He doesn't have a GM and if he eats Tua's salary, he doesn't have the acumen to figure out how to recover from a setback like that.

Sometimes I wish the NFL had relegation. But more often, I wish it had owner banishment.
