That actually hadn't crossed my mind, you'd think it would be offside.
My theory is because the Flyers voluntarily brought the puck back into their own zone.

Texted a friend this morning who played Junior B, and is still coaching (30 years later).
He says that's the answer, that Philadelphia voluntarily brought puck back in, so no offside.
