Both way too soon. Lyndon Byers was the epitome of 'Big, Bad Bruins' hockey, very much in the school of "if you can't beat them in the alley, you won't beat them on the ice". (Wish I could remember the source of that saying.) He was a joy to listen to when he was doing color on the Bruins broadcast.

I am a Maple Leafs fan, not a huge fan of fighting in hockey any more, but damn, Lyndon was a tough tough player.
