The draw for the fourth round proper of the FA Cup. : Highlights - Northampton or Rotherham v Manchester United; Arsenal v Middlesbrough; Coventry City v Accrington Stanley or Colchester; Liverpool v Newcastle; Southend United or Scarborough v Watford or Chelsea
and if Chelsea play like they did then Watford will too....

dng - a southend fan? I lived there for a year or so. My dad still cheers them on when he can... Newcastle - Liverpool should be a fun one. And Arsenal and Boro play each other 4 times in a very short period of time soon.

TELFORD! vs. MILLWALL! had better be on tv. Of course, Fox will probably go with Newcastle vs. Liverpool, which I can't complain about. The FA Cup really needs a NCAA-tournament like PPV option here in the States. The one game they did offer--Chelsea vs. Watford--turned out to be pretty great by all acounts, but I didn't want to spend the 16 bucks on what I assumed would be a laugher.

we got to watch Chelsea vs Watford and Newcastle v Southampton here. But I totally agree that they should offer more games. If every single freaking NHL game is on tv somewhere, why can't they offer more than one or two games a week?

We got Liverpool-Yeovil Town on FSW. I was surely sick after watching the first 60 minutes, let me tell you. The Reds were playing as if it were a practice passing drill, not an FA Cup match with repercussions for losing. Even though Heskey did score right after coming on (*cough* Star Fucker *cough*), I was pleading through the TV for GH to swap out Diouf for, say, Le Tallec because EHD is getting higher on my WTF list than EH. At least they woke up before following Charleton down the drain. I could surely see where they missed Gerrard though and am scared about facing Chelsea Wednesday (yay, FSW) without him!

I can't wait for that Chelsea-Liverpool game... I am not going to comment on the FA Cup game bill... You will eventually understand...well, i will say this: Heskey scoring against a 3rd division team and YOU are excited?! Anyway, doesn't Chelsea have to play Watford again before they play Southend?

SF - that's the point of the FA cup, it lets real football fans see their teams playing the big boys once in a while and every year someone f*cks up. Its the way that the cup exists in a bubble and whatever happens in the league, or whatever relegation, champoinship, promotion fight the club is in gets lost for 90 minutes when you might as well lose 4-0 trying to score than 1-0 protecting your goal difference... Maybe it's the Sunderland fan in me and the legend of 1973 but I love it!

SF, I wasn't excited by Heskey's goal but simply pointing it out to irritate you. My main point was that Diouf should have been taken off at halftime and fuck did we miss Steven Gerrard.

Diouf was the best player on the field...did you WATCH the game?! He was everywhere! And Brettski, i know the point of the FA Cup, but i was just mentioning that Chelsea have to replay against Watford before they play Southend...am i correct?

I watched the game and thought that he constantly kept the ball too long and made bad passes when he finally did give it up!

Southend v Chelsea. Man, I'm all excited now (although, if we play like we did on Saturday, Scarborough will beat us in the replay anyway)
