Former Major Leaguer Ivan Calderon : shot dead in a store in his hometown of Lozia, Puerto Rico. Looks like a gang hit to me.
whoa whoa. easy tiger. it does sound suspicious, like a hit.

I don't know what kind of other hits come in the form of a couple bullets to the back without a word. Also, from Calderon having been in a store, the inference would be that these guys were following him.

What's this going to do to the value of all my Ivan Calderon baseball cards? I vaguely remember Ivan when he played with some really bad Seattle Mariner's teams. Pretty sad deal.

I got to hear a ton of hilarious stories about this guy from the son of his arch-enemy Bob McClure. Those guys used to brawl all the time back in the 80s. Didn't he beat his wife in the 90s? That's my most recent memory of him. That and playing for the Expos back in the blue unis days (I've got the cards too Vito).

He played for the Sox for 15 minutes right after his playing days were over. It was Lou Gorman's part of "Andre Dawson Theory".

Lots of inferences here considering noone really knows anything about it, nice.

I don't know about 'gang' related, but it definitely was a hit.

How come everytime I hear of a black guy being killed it immediately becomes a gang hit?

How come everytime I hear of a guy being killed by two bullets to the back of the head, with no robbery or calling out involved, it immediately becomes a gang hit?

Looks like a gang hit to me I guess you're an expert on "gang hits," and you were an eye witness to the event?
