Zig zag QB math -

Niners GM John Lynch, who:

- Got Jimmy Garoppolo for a second rounder

- Was given four draft choices by Chicago to move down one spot in the 2017 draft (so the Bears could get Trubisky)

- Is paying seventh rounder Brock Purdy less than $1 million a year to be the starter

- Could have had Mac Jones without moving up in the draft but instead spent three first rounders to move up for Trey Lance

- Just got a fourth rounder from the Cowboys for Lance
