Anthony Davis Gets NBA Record Salary Extension: The Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis have agreed to a three-year extension that keeps him in gold and purple through 2028 and amounts to $62 million a year, the largest contract extension in NBA history. Davis has averaged 25 points and two blocks in a season five times, behind only Shaq and Kareem.
