Author John Underwood has passed away at age 88. He wrote for Sports Illustrated, and his friendship with Ted Williams led to two books coauthored with the slugger. One of my Nova Scotia cousins, Jim Prime, who himself has coauthored books with Ted Williams, shared the obituary on Facebook.
