Apologies if this has been pointed out ad nauseam by the talking heads that I dutifully ignore, but watching game 2 of the Cavs/Knicks series it occurred to me how strange it is that Jalen Brunson and Donovan Mitchell are going head to head in the first round of the playoffs for the second year in a row but each with different teams in a different conference.

I'm sure it's happened here and there throughout NBA history, but it adds an extra little point of intrigue.
