Boeheim out after 47 years at Syracuse. Tony Bennett at UVa is now the only ACC coach with a national title.

They should put Syracuse in the tournament so that Boeheim's team can unexpectedly overachieve and anger, frustrate and torment opponents one last time.

Kind of like a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award.

I recall the sinking feeling of seeing SU listed on bracket selection days. Knowing full well that their presence meant certain heartbreak for higher seeded teams.

I always thought that Syracuse playing their home games in the Dome helped them come tourney time. "OK guys, it's March Madness, time for some good road food and we get to play in smaller, more intimate arenas for a change."

If the new coach promises to ditch that spongebob octopus 2-3 zone, I'll buy him a really nice bottle of bourbon.
