The transitive property from my schoolboy days is alive and well in the NBA.

The Magic, having learned the finer points of hand to hand combat from the Malicemeister Pistons in a melee a few weeks ago, carried their newly acquired skills and know how into yesterday's massive brawl with the Timberwolves.

Now it's the Wolves' turn to pay the love forward. They play the Grizzlies next Friday.
