So, apparently Mayfield said that he's going to fuck the Browns up when he was asked about the season-opening game against them, but now he's trying to claim that he never said such a thing. Why the walkback? It's a reasonable feeling to have about your former team giving up on you and signing another QB while you're still in the ding dang room.

Possibly he's walking it back after someone showed Mayfield footage of his bravado prior to the 2019 opener. Just one of the many times the guy got some serious talk in prior to the game but never showed up for the game.

Before Baker Mayfield faces his hated old team the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, perhaps he'd care to consult Paul Pogba, witchcraft practitioner.
