So happy to see one of the greats of my youth, Cliff Branch, inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I wasn't sure that would ever happen. I'm sorry that he isn't alive to enjoy the recognition.

Ken Stabler threw such a pretty ball and Branch caught them so fluidly. Deadly speed outside the numbers.

Mahomes to Tyreek was like "How did they do that?"

Stabler to Branch was like "You can't stop this."

He was so fast that one of the great skills he developed was catching underthrown balls (mostly from Plunkett) - over the shoulder or helmet of a disoriented DB. And he was always matched up against the best talent of any opposing secondary.
